life is to short <3 

I just came home from work to find out some horrible news. One of my dads bestfriend dropped dead of a heart attack last night! He was only 56 years old. This man was one of the nicest guys with the biggest hearts. I can just picture sitting on the beach with him in wildwood newjersey and him telling me the same stories ( everytime I saw him ) about how he used to babysit us when me and my sister were little. Truly a shocking day for me that this could happen! But anyway this isn’t what I wanted to write about.

This has been said so many times but its true, you cannot take life for granted! You never know when the most precious gift called life, will be taken away from you or someone you love. Its amazing how quickly life can be taken away from someone. Your out having drinks with friends one minute and the next, your wife and 2 kids are planning a funeral! So if there’s anything you take from this note, please let it be .. to live everyday like its your last. Make sure the people you love know that you love them, because in a blink of an eye, the chance to tell them might not be there!

Please say a prayer for christine (21) and nicky (15) who will be going through one of the toughest times of their lives

Hey tumblr world. My name is Johana, im 21 years old. I was born and raised in New York. I love living here, but sometimes i wish i could travel more and see what this crazy world has to offer. I love music, it helps me keep me focused. You can always tell what kind of mood im in by what im listening to. I’m OBSESSED with quotes. I have easily over 300 quotes saved on my computer. I think there an awesome way to express yourself. Family and Friends are two of the most important things in my life. Family will always be there for you, no matter how many times you crash and burn, and believe me i would know! Friends are hard to come by, well i should say GOOD friends are hard to come by. There have been plenty of people i have called my “best” friends, but it wasnt until the past couple of years i realized what that really meant and who my best friends really were. I am thankful everyday that i have found such amazing best friends
